A career is not just a job, it is something you need to work to achieve, its something you find passion and interest in doing, and it is some where you will spend most of your life, at least that is what it should be. Many people grow up dreaming of a job that will award them with fame and fortune but these kinds of jobs can be extremely difficult to achieve. If you have compelling feelings for animals but don't like school, should you give up your dream of being a vet because the first few years of your life might be a little challenging? Some people rather spend there time sitting at a factory where degrees weren't needed, so they can be off at five and have their freedom then. I however believe spending your days counting down the hours till retirement is a waste, because the people who are passionate about what they do will achieve so much more. For example Taylor Swift spent all of her high school years writing and preforming at local cafes before anyone even heard of her. She gave up her social life to save up and make money to travel to Nashville and when she got there she still had to work at getting a record deal. She is not a singer because it was easy, but because that's what she loves to do and she will never spend a day regretting all the work she put in to get there.
For my life I will pursue a career in something I find passion in. Something I am interested in is real estate. I love the idea of touring rich people through luxurious homes but I know to get there I will have to find connections to a good real estate company and work my way up to be able to show the more expensive homes. I am going to university to get a degree in business and maybe once studying I will find something else I like even more but for now I see myself as a real house wife as of orange county with a side career of real estate agent. What ever I end up doing with my life though I know it will something I love, and it will be eventually be leading me to the lifestyle I'd like.
